The tire pressure monitor system in a 2007 Nissan Altima uses sensors mounted in each of the valve stems to read and report the current tire pressure. When the pressure in a tire falls below a certain amount a warning light will show up on the dashboard letting You know. To reset the sensor You will first need to inflate the tire to the proper psi. Then You will need to drive the vehicle for 10 minutes or more at 50mph, this will allow the sensor to reset itself. If that doesnt work You will need to turn on the vehicle's ignition without starting the engine. Then You need to find the tpms reset button, press and hold it in until the warning light starts blinking. Once You see the light blink You can release the button. You will then need to start the engine and let the vehicle run for 20 minutes so the system can recalibrate.
