The oil change light on Your 2008 Hyundai Sonata needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. If You don't reset the light, You will find that Your vehicle will indicate that You need another oil change sooner than would be necessary. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, start the engine and then look for the "OK" button on the top right of the steering wheel. Press and hold this button for 3 seconds.
