To reset the tire pressure monitoring system in the 2010 Kia Forte, make sure the air pressure in all four tires is accurate. This should be done after the vehicle has been parked a while. A cold pressure rating is what You're looking for here. After You have made sure the accurate amount of air has been added or removed, turn the key in the ignition to ON, but don't start the engine. Locate the TPMS reset button. It should be below the steering column. Hold that button down until the light in the instrument cluster blinks three times. Give the system a few minutes to retrieve readings from all four sensors. When it's done, turn the ignition off and then start the vehicle to make sure the light is off. If it's not, try driving the vehicle for at least 10 minutes at more than 30 miles per hour If it still doesn't go off, You may need an OBD-II tool to take the readings from each tire individually or You might need a sensor replaced.

To reset the tpms in the 2010 kia forte, press the tpms button below the steering wheel and hold it in until the light finishes blinking three times. Release the button and start the car. Allow it to run 20 minutes to finish resetting.
