Whenever You get the oil changed in Your 2010 Nissan Sentra usually a dealership or mechanic will go ahead and reset the oil light. If they did not do it, or You are doing oil changes on Your own then You will need to reset the light and it is pretty easy to do. First You will need to turn the vehicle on without starting the engine. Next go to the settings menu by pressing the square button. Once in that menu go to maintenance. Scroll down to oil and filter, then select reset. There will be a confirmation message that will come up on the display and then select yes to confirm You want to reset the oil life.
