The purpose of the TPMS on Your 2011 Chevy Aveo is to warn You that one or more tires is under-inflated which could produce premature tire wear, tire failure, and unsafe driving conditions. To perform a reset of the TPMS only takes a few moments. First, turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the vehicle. Now, press the "TPMS" button (which is found underneath the left side of the dashboard) until You see the low tire pressure light blink several times and then release the button. Start the vehicle and wait for at least 20 minutes while driving at 30-60 mph for the sensors to refresh. You have completed the procedure and the TPMS has successfully been reset.
