You'll need a fuse puller or tweezers to follow along here; if You use Your girlfriend's eyebrow tweezers, remember to wash any grease off before You put them back in the drawer. So, the firSTStep in resetting the 2012 Honda Civic's Engine Control Unit (ECU) is going to be to drive a couple of laps around Your block to bring the engine up to temperature. Then, park Your vehicle (this is important, as it'll be difficult to do this while sitting in the driver's seat and driving) and pop the hood.
