The 2013 Acura RDX came from the factory with size H11 headlight bulbs on most models while some came with factory installed HID headlights. The HIDs take a size D2S bulb that costs between $75 and $120 each. The H11 bulbs are offered by many different manufactures and cost between $20 to $100 per pair depending on which bulbs You want to go with. When replacing any bulb in Your vehicle, especially the headlights, You need to be very careful to not touch the glass portion of the bulb with Your bare hands. The oil left behind from Your hands would cause the glass to heat unevenly which would shatter the glaSSRuining Your new bulbs

To change a light bulb, either headlight or brake light, on the 2013 acura rdx you will need to remove the plastic covering over top of it. This can be screwed loose, and then it will pop out. Once the cover is off simply turn the bulb till it is loose, then put a new one in by turning it the other way. Put the cover back on and you will be done. For some lights in the back of the vehicle you can access them from the trunk. Peel back the liner of the trunk and you can unscrew them without taking the cover off.
