The oil change light on Your 2013 Nissan Sentra needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine and then press and hold the double square button until "Settings" appears on Your display. Scroll to "Maintenance" and select it and then scroll to "Oil And Filter" and preSSReset." From here, You can change the time and distance for the next maintenance period and You can also reset the oil change light. You have completed the procedure and You can turn Your ignition off.

To reset the oil light on the 2013 nissan sentra you need to turn the key to on, but leave the engine off. Now find the oil button on the dash and hold it till it blinks.
