The anti-theft system on the 2014 Chevrolet Spark should normally automatically disarm itself when the vehicle is started with the correct key. There's a transponder within the key that is paired with the immobilizer control unit in the Spark and that automatically disarms the system. If Your key is damaged, this automatic process may not occur. If the engine doesn't start and the key appears to be undamaged, try using another ignition key. You need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side, then turn the key to the ON position. Turn it back off, then back on, twice. This should perform a soft reset. If You're still unable to start the system, You'll need to have the local dealer service it and potentially new keys made.

To reset the anti theft security alarm on the 2014 Chevy spark you need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side and put the key into the on position. Now turn it off and then back on twice and it will reset. If the immobilizer is messed up then the alarm will not work.
