The 2014 Hyundai Sonata's TPMS system should be self-healing. Meaning that once the pressures are corrected, the warning will power off the driver's information display. A flashing light indicates one or more of the Sonata's wheels are over-inflated. A solid light means one or more is underinflated. If the light flashes and then remains on, the system itself is miscommunicating, and an OBDII scanner may be required to disable the warning. Park on a flat surface and check tire pressures. The correct PSI for the Sonata iS34 PSI. Verify by exaMINIng the driver's door jamb sticker. After correcting pressures the TPMS warning should power off when the vehicle is restarted. You may need to drive for 20 minutes at speeds equal to or greater than 25 mph to relearn the system. If the sensors are in error, starting with the LF wheel, scan each tire's sensor with and OBDII, moving to RF, RR, LR and a spare if equipped. Turn the key to the "on" only position. Connect the scanner to the interior port and upload each sensor's ID. Turn the ignition off and re-scan each wheel. Fire the engine and drive for at least 30 minutes to reset the TPMS.

To reset the tire pressure monitor or tpms system in your 2014 hyundai sonata vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the tpms button, usually located under the dash, until the tpms light blinks several times. Start your vehicle and let it run for at least 20 minutes and your tpms system should be reset.
