Hyundai sonata: cool air, great gas mileage, and a comfortable ride!
2014 Hyundai Sonata SE
I like my sonata. It has been reliable, I feel safe when driving it, and it is comfortable for long trips. The back seat has leg room enough for adults, and the trunk is big enough to hold suitcases for a trip, or coolers and beach chairs for a day at the beach. The warranty on the car is great as well, and service at my dealer has always been easy. ( the free car washes are a definite plus). As for driving performance, it is not a race car! It does not have great pick up, but the ride is smooth. It gets decent gas mileage..About 24 miles to the gallon driving around town. Which is better than other cars I have had. The cruise control works great, the back up camera could be bigger, ( this is something that may have been improved upon in later model years), and the air conditioner works incredibly well, ( I live in Florida and this is important). In fact there are no air vents in the back so the front passengers become very chilly while the rear passengers cool off. The steering can be put into three modes, and I like the sport mode the best. It feels as if you have the most control over the car. As far as the looks of the car, it reminds me of an accord both inside and out. It is somewhat sporty for a four door sedan. My only real complaint that might stop me from purchasing another one, is the recalls. This is always hassle and there has been two since we bought the car. I do realize recalls happen to many cars, so although it may not prevent me from purchasing another Hyundai, it would be something to take into consideration.
