The oil change light on Your 2014 Volkswagen Tiguan needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, switch off the ignition. Now click and hold the 0.0 button which is found on the right side of the instrument cluster. Then turn the ignition on (but don't start the engine) and again press the 0.0 button and then briefly click the "Min" button on the left side of the instrument cluster. Finally, turn the ignition off, then back on, and go to the "Fuel Life" screen where You will see the oil light has been reset.
