To reset the gas cap light in the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee You can follow steps listed here. The first thing You will need to do is make sure the gas cap is tightened secure and there is no damage to the gas cap. When You turn the gas cap counter-clockwise You will continue to turn the cap until it clicks three times to make sure it is fastened tightly. Now You turn on the engine and drive the SUV around for about 10 minutes and the OBD-II system will automatically reset the gas cap light. If the warning light does not disappear You will need to connect an OBD diagnostic tool to reset the code manually.
