To get started with resetting the oil life for Your 2016 Kia Forte You're first going to want to get inside of the vehicle on the driver's side. Put the key in to the vehicle and move it in to the on position but don't start up the engine. If You have a keyless start system just press the power button twice. Now what You're going to need to do is press down on the gas pedal three times with a quick pause in between. Once You have done it three times You're going to see a light blink and then You can kill power to Your vehicle. You should now be able to start it up and see that Your light has been reset.

To reset the oil life warning or maintenance light in your 2016 kia forte vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Release and start your vehicle and the oil light should indicate a reset.
