If You need to reset the immobilizer in Your 2017 Honda Civic it is a pretty easy process to do. Usually if Your car will not start and there is an immobilizer light on at the dash that is a sign that the vehicle needs to be reset. To reset the security system first press and hold the panic button for five seconds. When You are done with that press the lock button two times, then the unlock button two times. After that the system should be fully reset and You should be able to turn it on. If Your alarm system is having regular problems then You will want to make sure to have it inspected by Honda to make sure the BCM is fine.

To reset the security system or immobolizer in your 2017 honda civic vehicle, depress the key fob's panic button for five seconds before pressing the lock button twice standing 10 feet away from the vehicle. Follow by depressing the unlock button twice and your immobolizer should be reset.
