Resetting the inspection due light on Your 2018 AudiQ5 will be a very easy process that will only take a couple minutes. You'll first need to put the key in the ignition and move it in to the on position but don't start up the motor. Now press down on the gas pedal all the way down slowly three times in a row. After the third time You'll want to go ahead and start up the engine. You should see a light flash on Your instrument panel when You start the vehicle but after that Your warning light should be gone for now.

To reset the inspection light in your 2018 audi q5 vehicle, turn the ignition key to the "on" position and depress the gas pedal slowly three times. Release and start your vehicle and your inspection light should indicate a reset.

The 2018 Q5 does NOT have a key to turn. It's keyless.

This answer doesn't work on my 2018 Q5. Maybe because I don't have an "ignition key" or place to insert it. I tried just pushing the start button without having my foot on the break pedal to turn on the ignition and then depressing the gas pedal as instructed, but no luck.

Does not work after multiple tries. Don't get hung up on the key being a physical key blade. Just push the button once without pushing the brake pedal to get the ignition in "on" mode

You have to use a scan tool to reset the inspection light because the manufacturer includes a diagnostic scan as part of the inspection

This doesn't work

The "Inspection" warning is not the "Maintenance" warning as so many of these sites and people incorrectly equate. The "Inspection" warning can only be reset with a scan tool as Charles Sims specified.

This does not work. Is there another way to reset it?

Did not work, no key, but even starting didn't reset.
