If You own a 2011 Chevy Equinox, You will probably want to stream music through bluetooth capabilities. This is easy to set up, and only takes around 2 to 5 minutes. The first action You will need to take is to make sure bluetooth is enabled on Your phone. Go to Your mylink screen, and select phone. Next, choose connect, and then add phone. Choose the mylink system from Your phone's bluetooth menu options, then check to see if You are connected.
I can connect for audio calls but why I can't connect to stream music thru Bluetooth?

Bluetooth will only work for phone calls on the older Equinox models. Music has to be connected via wired connection. Look for an aux jack to plug the cable in. It should be inside the center console.

I had to personally buy a AUX cord for my music. I paired my iPhone to the car but it still would not let me play music.
You plug your charger USB end of your iPhone into the port under your middle console and it shows as iPod on your screen and it plays your music.
