How do i remove speed limiter on chevy impala?

If You've got any model year of Chevrolet Impala, the speed will be electronically governed. This means that, unfortunately, there's no easy way to remove it. There's no physical hardware that You can remove or adjust, so You'll have to dig a little farther. The only way to remove an electronic speed limiter is by reprogRamming the Engine Control Module (ECM). This is an involved procedure that requires expensive equipment that I don't have, and there are very good chances that You don't either. Certain tune-up and overhauling shops may offer this as a service, but it usually costs quite a bit. Unfortunately, I have nothing to recommend; You'll have to do the research there on Your own.
