How do i remove the ford ecosport parcel shelf?

As You may know already, the Ford EcoSport has a parcel shelf. This is a small compartment that can be found at the rear of the vehicle, behind the back seats. The shelf is intended as storage for small items. This may include simple things, such as hand tools, or toys. If You need to remove it, simply use a bit of force to push or hammer upwards on the ends of the strong plastic clips holding it into place, being careful not to break them. The shelf should come off with some strength. You may also try to use the attached lever, but it is very difficult to remove as well.
