Replacing the oil pan on a 2010 Ford Fusion is a somewhat difficult task and You will need pry tools, sockets, and gasket scraping tools. The first thing that You should do is remove the drain plug and allow all of the oil to drain from the engine and pan. After that You can go around the edge of the pan and start loosening all the bolts that hold it in place. When they are all removed You will need to use a pry tool of some sort to pry it off the bottom of the engine. Once it is free You will need to use a scraping tool or razor blade to clean the bottom of the engine off until it is bare metal. Then You can install a new oil pan with a new gasket and torque it down properly before filling.
