Resetting the check engine light on the Chevrolet Malibu is a very easy task. You can do it in 4 to 8 minutes of Your personal time. To begin, You will need to go to the driver's side of Your vehicle, and get inside. Now, look at the dash, and insert Your key into the ignition. Turn it quickly to the on position, then back off again. Do this while ensuring You do not accidentally turn on the engine itself. Do this two times total, in quick succession. This will fully reset the check engine light, and it will no longer illuminate on Your dashboard.
