To reset the Chevy TrailBlazer oil life light You will start by turning the ignition to the "ON" position but don't crank the engine. Now You will press and release the gas pedal to the floor slowly three time within five seconds. You will know if it is resetting because the "change oil soon" light will blink. Now turn the ignition off and then start the car up again to see if the light has disappeared. This is important to do because it will allow You to keep track of the oil change service intervals which is one of the most important fluids to change in the vehicle. You can either do the oil change Yourself or get it done at a service shop which will cost about $30 - $60 depending on if its conventional or synthetic oil.

To reset the chevy trailblazer oil light, you will forward two clicks to the accessory power position to change the ignition key. To navigate through the dic, press the "fuel information" button before "oil life" is shown in the interactive menus. Press and hold the left arrow button until the "100 per cent" symbol appears on the dic's interactive menu. Switch the ignition key to place on the accessory control. Depress the accelerator pedal thrice to the floor within a five-second period. Switch the ignition to location of off. Start the trailblazer to ensure it follows the reset process.
