In order to reset the anti theft system on Your 2007 Chevy Malibu You'll first need to put the key in the ignition and move it in to the on position. Now let the vehicle sit for 10 minutes. The light should stop blinking and when it does You'll need to take the key out of the ignition. Once this is done You will juSTStart the engine up like normally and it should have been reset. If this method doesn't work You should try these steps one more time and if You're still having trouble You can go ahead and take the battery out of the vehicle for 30 minutes and it will reset itself to it's factory settings.

On most 2007 chevys, With the doors shut, insert the key into the drivers door lock. Lock and unlock the door 5 times. This should reset the system. This is the fix for the Silverado and works on most other chevy cars the same year as well
