How do i reset the 2001 Lincoln Navigator anti theft?

When the alarm is not working in Your 2001 Lincoln Navigator the first thing that You should do is try to reset it to see if that solves the problems. Resetting the system is pretty easy to do and just takes a few minutes. You will first need to unlock Your SUV with the physical key then press the unlock button on the key fob within 20 seconds, then start the ignition within 20 seconds. Usually this will clear the system out and allow it to reset. If You have continued problems with the system then I recommend letting Lincoln take a look at it to make sure that there are not any computer problems.
