If You have a tire sensor fault in Your 2006 Ford Explorer it is pretty easy to reset. All You will need to do is use the driver information panel to scroll to tire pressure monitor and then hold down the reset button on the steering wheel and the light should turn off. You will also need to drive for at least ten minutes after doing this to let the sensor learn the new pressures. If that does not turn off the tire sensor fault message then there could be an actual problem with the tire sensor. You will need to remove the sensor and replace it by takeng off the tire from the wheel and then re mounting the tire.

On the steering wheel, press and hold the reset button. Release when the low pressure light blinks three times. Start the car and let it run for some time.
