Resetting the tire pressure monitoring system, otherwise known as the tpms, in a 2008 Kia Spectra is easy to do. First, You need to go to the driver's side of Your car, and get inside. To the right side of the steering wheel, You will find a button labeled reset. Press this button, then wait for 10 to 15 minutes. If upon starting the engine the tpms light has not gone away, turn the engine back off, setting the ignition to the on position. Now, press down the reset button and hold it until the light on the dashboard goes off. It should now be reset.

To reset the tpms on the 2008 kia spectra make sure the tire pressure is correct, then turn on the vehicle. Now hit the reset button that is to the right of the steering wheel and wait ten minutes. In some cases you may need to hold the button down till the light flashes.
