To rest the fuel pump on Your 2012 Dodge Charger You will have two options available to You. The first will be the easiest and that will be to unplug the battery from the vehicle for between 20 to 40 minutes. Doing this will no only reset the fuel pump but restore everything on the vehicle to it's factory settings so You will need to keep this in mind. The second is more difficult but will reset only the fuel pump. You will need to remove a lower portion of the dashboard on the driver's side in order to access the inertial switch. Holding this switch down for a few moments will reset the pump.
