To reset the oil light on the 2014 Ford F-250 You first need to park in a safe space out of the way and You'll need to do this after every oil change. The oil should be changed every 3,000 to 5,000 miles for conventional oil or 7,500 to 10,000 miles for synthetic. After You are parked in a safe space, put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position without starting the truck. Next You will need to access the setup menu by using the directional pad on the steering wheel. Go through the menu starting with settings, go to vehicle and then go to oil life reset. Then turn off the engine and then start up the truck.

Using the directional pad on the wheel, scroll the menu until the oil life % option shows up, then enable the option by holding the button.
