In the 2007 Toyota Yaris, it's important if Your airbag is illuminated to first find the fault in the system. Sometimes, it's something minor and inconsequential; however, on other occasions, it can be a serious issue that poses a severe safety risk to the occupants in case of an accident. If You've already checked the fault and had it remedied, You can technically clear the code by jumping certain OBD-II port terminals. First, with the ignition off, connect the TC and CG terminals of the port. Turn the ignition on, and when the SRS light begins flashing, remove the jumper from TC. The light should go solid. Within 2 to 4 seconds, reconnect the jumper to TC. Within 2 to 4 more seconds, the SRS light will go off -- remove the jumper again. One more time, You'll need to reconnect within 2 to 4 seconds. One second later, so long as the diagnostic codes are cleared, the SRS light will flash steadily and it is reset. If there are still trouble codes, it will flash in a pattern, indicating the code.
