Resetting the alarm on Your 2004 Ford Escape is easy to do. It will only take around 4 to 7 minutes of Your time. First, You will need to go to the front of Your vehicle, and prop open the hood using the arm on the passenger side. Next, take the positive terminal from the battery, then go to the driver's side of the car and get inside. Turn the ignition to the on or run position, being careful not to try to crank the motor. Now, go back to the battery, and re-attach the positive terminal to its place on the batttery. Go back to the driver's seat, and turn the ignition off. The alarm should now be reset.

On the 2004 ford escape remove the positive cable from battery, place key in car and turn to the on position, then replace positive cable, turn key off then back on to reset the alarm.
