If You own a 2010 Ford Escape, You will eventually need to reset various lights and systems. One of those is the anti-theft system. To reset it, first go to the front of Your vehicle, and open the hood. Locate the positive cable attached to the battery, and remove it. Next, turn the ignition to the on or run position. Put the positive cable back on the battery, making sure the connection is not loose. Now, turn the key in the ignition back to the off position, and back on again. Start the engine, and the anti-theft light should now be reset.

To reset the anti-theft system try removing the positive cable from the battery, putting the key in the ignition and turning it into the on position. After that put the positive cable back in, turn the key off and then back on.
