There are two ways that You can reset the check engine light on Your Dodge Challenger. The first thing You need to do is make sure You know why the light came on and fix whatever caused it. Resetting the light will not make the problem go away. The first way You can try to turn off the light is to simply disconnect the battery for 30 minute or so. This causes all the electronics in the car to reset. The battery trick only works on cars made before 2011. The second way You can turn off the CEL is to use a code scanner. You can buy a cheap bluetooth OBD II scanner online that connects to Your phone. These will allow You to see the cause of the code and also clear it which will turn off the light.

To reset the check engine light on the Dodge Challenger you will need to either reset the battery by removing the positive and negative cables, or connect an OBD scanner and do it through there.
