There are two different ways You can reset the check engine light on a Dodge Charger. The first way is to remove the positive and negative terminals from the battery which will reset the check engine light. The next way is to use an OBD scanner to pull up the check engine light and reset it from there. The positive aspect of using an OBD scanner is that You will also be able to see the fault or error code displayed that is causing the check engine light to be on. It is very important to find the problem that is causing the check engine light to illuminate so it doesn't cause any further damage to the vehicle. If You don't have a diagnostic tool You can borrow one from Your local auto parts stores for a small fee and deposit which You can get back when You return it.

To reset the check engine light on the Dodge Charger you will need to either reset the battery by removing the positive and negative cables, or connect an OBD scanner and do it through there.
