The anti-theft system on the Dodge Durango was not designed to be reset by the owner and requires software for a hard reboot that can only be acquired through a visit to the dealership. The cost of having the Anti-Theft Module reset averages under $100. To disable the alarm if set off in error, press the "unlock" button on the Durango's RKE transmitter or insert the key manually into the lock cylinder of the driver's door and unlock it. Either approach will successfully reset the anti-theft's alarm. However, to disable an interior anti-theft warning light You will need to reprogRam the module and this can only be accomplished by a certified dealer or Dodge specialist.

To reset the alarm on the Dodge Durango you need to lock all the doors, then unlock the driver side and put the key into the on position. Now turn it off and then back on twice and it will reset.

It’s a simple fix but does not solve the Problem. You will need to remove your instrument cluster as it is defective in most dodges more comon in dodge caravans . The soldering cracks in the cluster cashing the security alarm to activate. Unfortunately if your Durango don’t start removethe instrument cluster start it and place it back so you have a speedometer. Repeat the process till you buy a new one or get one off market place or a pull apart, upullit

I finally got this to work when reading these. Get in and lock all doors, then put key to on position and unlock the driver's door. Then I turned the key to ON and OFF 3x. It didn't work the other way. Another way I reset all the computers was touching+ -- bat cables (2hrs) but my Durango has to be dead completely then use the jumper and leave 2 full hours (did this around 8x it worked 2x) *Bought without key fob and alarm flashing or stuck on. Took about 5-6wks to "reset" the alarm
