To reset the airbag light turn the FIAT 500 on and make sure the air bag light is on. Wait seven seconds, then turn it off. Now repeat this two more times and it should stay off.

What a complete load of codswallop. The only way to reset the airbag light is with diagnostic equipment. Hope is not a course of action.

Sorry, Are you saying to switch the ignition on , wait 7 secs, then turn it off ( then repeat ) or are you saying you haveto start the engine then switch off. Apologies.
