To reset the Ford Edge tire pressure sensor, watch: https://www.Youtube.com/watch?v=qmySWCnOJzc This part will need to be changed eventually. You should change Your tires every 30,000 to 50,000 miles or so. You don't want to get into any accidents on the road. Making sure Your tires are in the best condition is key to not crashing. You will come into problems with this part at some time or another. Check for holes, in case You run over something sharp. The part might become loose at some point. Premature tire wear is something to be on the lookout for. You might run into feathering issues. You could face cupping problems. Make sure to inspect the tire pressure once a month.

Change the ignition switch to on. Place the tpms machine against the sidewall of the left front tire, 180 degrees off the edge of the tire valve. For 2007-2009 models with banded sensors and directly below the valve stem on the sidewall for 2010-2015 models with the valve stem mounted tpms sensors, the tpms tool shall remain in place 180 degrees from the valve stem for. For every positive response from a tire pressure sensor, the tpms device will provide feedback in the form of a flashing green light and a beep sound.
