To reset the Check Coolant Additive alert in the Ford F-350 first navigate to the settings menu. Select "vehicle" and then "Maintenance". Choose "Coolant" upon which there will be a prompt telling You to hold OK if the coolant additive has been checked. This alert will typically pop every month to remind You to check the coolant levels in Your vehicle. When tested it is checked for things such as presence of nitrates, glycol percentage, reserve coolant alkalinity, and the possibility of corrosion. The coolant capacity for 2011-2016 models is approximately 29.4 to 30.3 quarts. The suggested fluid type is Genuine Ford Fluid that is orange in color and pre-diluted. The coolant system should have its initial flush at 105,000 miles or after 6 years and then every 45,000 miles/3 years.

On the ford f-350 diesel coolant additives indicator, you can reset it like you would an oil change notification. Go to "settings>vehicle>maintenance>coolant" and hold the "ok" button.
