Resetting the oil change light in the Ford Fiesta is very easy to do. It will only take about 5 to 7 minutes of Your time. The firSTStep You will need to take is to open Your driver's side door, and get inside. Next, place Your key in the ignition, and turn it to the on position. Be very careful that You don't accidentally start the engine when You do this. Now, using both feet, simultaneously push down the gas and brake pedals. At this point, You will need to hold position for a count of 5 to 12 seconds, then a message will illuminate on Your display screen on Your dashboard. It will indicate that the oil light is resetting. Remove Your feet from the pedals, and turn the ignition into the off position.

To reset the oil light on a ford fiesta follow these steps: turn ignition on(do not start car), press the gas and brake pedals all the way down and after a few seconds a message should appear that says the oil light will be reset. Continue to hold both pedals then release the pedals and switch the ignition off.
