The tire pressure sensor in Your Hyundai Sonata does pretty much exactly what it says, it monitors the pressure in Your tires and lets You know if one or more of them are not properly inflated. When one of these sensors trips due to low pressure it shows a warning light on the dash. At that point You will need to fill the tire to the proper psiAnd then reset the sensor so it can continue to do its job. To reset the sensor You need to do one of the following. The simplest is to just drive the car for around 10 min at speeds higher than 50mph. If that doesnt work then You will need to do it manually by turning the key to the ON position without starting the engine. Press and hold the TPMS button located under the steering wheel until the light blinkS3 times and then release. After that You need to start the car and leave it running for 20 min to completely refresh the sensor

To reset the tire pressure sensor on the Hyundai Sonata simply hold the reset button down until the TPMS indicator light in the instrument panel blinks slowly 3 three times.
I also have a 2020 and the method above doesn’t work. Any suggestions?
