Resetting the flat tire alarm on Your INFINITIQ50 is very easy to do. It will take less than 10 to 15 minutes of Your time. The first thing You will need to do is open Your driver's side door, and get inside Your vehicle. Next, turn the ignition to the on position. When doing this, always make sure You do not actually start the engine. Now, locate and push the tire pressure monitoring system, or TPMS, button. Hold the button down until You see the light flasH3 times in succession. Finally, start Your vehicle's engine. Wait a period of about 22 to 25 minutes before attempting to drive, and the alarm should be reset.

If we knew that there was a TPMS Reset Button and where it is, we wouldn't be asking "How do I reset my flat tire light?" Answering the question by saying "press the tire reset button" , without explaining exactly where it is, is about as helpful as telling someone who is asking how to fix a flat tire, that its easy....you just replace the flat tire with a tire that isn't flat. Can someone please answer the question with step by step details on what to do and exactly where to do it?

To reset the INFINITI Q50 flat tire alarm without starting the engine, click the "On" switch. Click the TPMS reset button and keep it until the light pulses three times, then unlock it. Start the car and let the sensor run for 20 minutes. Typically, you can find the tire pressure control reset button under the steering wheel.

There is no button on the newer q50 it’s the rpm’s button on the screen. You go into settings, then meter, and you just keep the tpms setting pressed and a light will blink on your dash.

Resetting the flat tire warning requires a dealer visit. They have to hook the car up to reset for some reason. I only know because I’ve had to have it done twice.

You cannot find this answer anywhere online. Apparently it’s some sort of secret because every website I’ve searched just says to hit the button without ever saying where the d**n thing is.

Our Q50 2021, I got the warning light last week, I fixed the tire and kept driving after that.. I don't remember how many miles, maybe 50 or less and it went away on it's own.. Fyi, an OBDII won't fix the warning light. 10/5/2022

I got a flat and the light remained on after changing to my winter tires. I brought it to Kal tire and their electronic device could not reset it. I called the dealer and they said I had to bring it into the dealership 6 hrs away. I tried a Nissan dealer closer but because it’s a franchise they wanted to charge $70 to reset. My own dealer in Winnipeg said it would cost $45 to turn off the warning light. This is a big scam, since I changed the tires myself Infiniti is forcing me to bring it to them and charging for a stupid rest. Just add a reset button inside the car and quit making things so complicated. I’ll never buy another Infiniti. Very bad set up in my opinion

So the car will flash its lights and beep the horn to achieve the right pressure when you fill the tire, practically talks to you as you do it - total driver assist action - but then it won’t let the driver reset the monitoring system. How stupid. Someone on the design team took a coffee break and forgot to come back to finish their job. I’ve loved owning Infinitis but on this specific detail, I’m with the guy that said this is f’d up. Totally subpar. :(

Hello Everyone I've Worked on Infiniti since i was a kid.i can answer the question everyone has been asking about the flat tire light coming on and the Red light hovering over the tires. So, obviously im sure that we all know when the tire light appears it means you're low on air and of course once you put air in your tire the car will alarm you once you've reach the max. As far as when theres a red light showing on one of your tires on ur dash board whatever dealerships are offering to reset it for money are scammers. Your car resets itself. Once you out a new tire on it will continue to show that red light on your tires you just have to allow the system to recognize that its a new tireand for that to happen you have to continue driving the car on the days you go out. After 3-4 day the system will finally recognize that its a nee tire.

I took my Q50 back to Discount Tire after having a run-flat tire repaired there. They used a hand-held electronic device to reset the auto's computer in just a few minutes.

I think people are making harder than it should be. I have a 2019 and took it to the place that replaced the flat tire. They plugged a device into the car and reset the sensor. Issue gone.

There are 2 types of tire warnings. The first one when the tire is low on air. This will reset after you drive it a while. The 2nd alarm happens if you drive the run flat tire for a distance. It triggers this alarm and that is what some are trying to reset. I see where the dealer will do it but find it really hard to believe that normal people can not rest it.

To all if you saying press the TPMS button, how much more clearly do we have to be. We get that you push it, but where is it? If you can’t answer that, then don’t answer the question with press, the TPMS button.

Must have a scan tool for infinity to reset. Dealer will do it for free. I tipped the guy in the service dept $2. Don’t wast your time fooling with the dash buttons and display.
