Unfortunately, there's no ironclad method to reset the anti-theft system in a Mazda Tribute. The closest procedure I was able to find was a paRameter reset, which is useful if You've replaced an electrical component and requires You to pair a new (or existing) key. This synC-HRonizes the control and the additional module to enable the data transfer between them. More details can be found at https://www.Mazdabg.com/ftp-uploads/Mazda%20material%20for%20technician/CT-L1007_en.pdf . If this isn't quite what You're looking for, it's possible that You'll just be able to disarm the system. A few methods to try are unlocking the driver's side door manually (You may have to remove an access cover for the key hole), checking the anti-theft system fuse for defects, and using a spare key to attempt to start the Tribute.

To deactivate the anti-theft feature in the Mazda Tribute, use the Remote Key Unlock button. Using the key to open the driver's door and then turn the ignition lever to the on spot. If that doesn't work, leave the car and roll up all the mirrors, then use the key to open the driver's door.
