On the MINI Cooper, You'll have an inertia switch that can be used to reset the fuel pump in case of a rollover or other accidental tripping. It's located, on older model years, between the brake master cylinder and the hood hinge, inside of the engine compartment on the driver's side of the vehicle. That is, the right side of the vehicle if You're underneath the hood, looking at the front of the car. On newer model years (2003 onward), You'll find the same switch inside the airbag control unit inside of the vehicle itself. While the apparatus is largely the same, MINIMade the change in September 2002. You'll find it, specifically, under the carpet between the gear lever housing and the handbrake control module. You'll need to remove quite a bit of hardware to access it, so it's recommended to take it to a professional in this case.
