In order to reset the anti theft system in Your Nissan Maxima You're going to need to put the key in to the ignition and leave it in the on position. The engine will not start so You're not even going to be able to give it power, just leave the vehicle with power not the engine. Now all You're going to need to do from here is let it sit for 10 minutes so that the vehicle can reset itself. After 10 minutes You should be able to drive as normal.

Bypass it bypass it all take your steering column apart and find the wire that sends the starter power when you turn your key on on a 1997 Nissan this is a black wire with a yellow stripe run your own wire from that point to the starter and bypass all the bullshit that is not allowing it to start problem solved
