The oil change light on Your 2007 Ford Expedition needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. If You don't reset the light, You will find that Your vehicle will indicate that You need another oil change sooner than would be necessary. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, turn the ignition on without starting the vehicle. Then, press the "Setup" button twice until Your screen says "Oil Life Remaining." Now, press and hold the "Reset" button until the screen says "Service: Oil Reset Complete" You may need to wait for a few minutes but You have completed the procedure and You can turn Your ignition off.
