The oil change light on Your 2009 Toyota Prius needs to be reset after every oil change so that the system can determine when the next oil change is due. The procedure only takes a few moments. First, turn the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine and press the POWER button twice without touching the brake pedal. Then press the "Trip" button until "TRIP A" appears on Your display. Now, turn off the ignition and press and hold the km/h MPH button while turning the POWER button to ON mode. Keep holding the km/h MPH button until You are told that the reset is complete. You have completed the procedure and You can turn Your ignition off.
