The 2008 Toyota 4Runner does not have a normal way to reset the tire pressure monitoring system. The vehicle does have a TPMS button but this button is not meant for resetting it. The light will come stay on Your vehicle until You have the tire pressure at the point where the vehicle wants it and the standard setting will be 27 psi. If You have Your tires set where they should be and You are still seeing the light You can disconnect the battery from Your vehicle for 20 to 30 minutes and this will return it to it's factory standard settings.

To reset the tpms on the 2008 4runner first make sure all tires have the right psi. Then get in the vehicle and start the engine. Find the tpms button and hold it down until you see the tpms indicator blink slowly 3 times.
