First, You need to know where the reset button is on Your 2018 Subaru Forester: It's going to be located to the left of the steering column, and says "Trip" on it. If You just press it gently, it will toggle between displaying "A" and "B" on the instrument cluster display. To completely reset this to zero, You'll need to hold it in fortwo seconds, which will keep it on Your selected counter but clear the miles driven. If You're wondering what a good flow here is for the two counters, a lot of people like to use counter A to keep track of oil changes, and B to track fill-ups. If You have a job that involves a lot of travel, using the A to keep track of monthly miles to turn in for reimbursement (or to the IRS, if You're self-employed and want to take the deduction) is also a smart use of it.
