To progRam the clock in Your Chevy Silverado, use the center display touchscreen, and tap on "settings" and choose "time and date" from the top of the list. A new screen will allow You to depress "set time". Use the arrow keys to move up or down "hour" options and repeat this step for "minutes", "seconds" and finally, "am" or "pm". Below these buttons You will notice "12" or "24" options. Select for military time instead of a 12-hour clock display if preferred. The Silverado also features an "auto set" function that works with satellite data to set the clock for You. Save the new setting by using the back buttons to return to the main menu.

My 2016 auto set no longer works since a new battery was installed. The settings are correct, but it just won’t work. A nuisance when driving through different time zones. Worked fine for five years.

First, press the power button. Then press and hold the button with the clock on it. From there you can set the hours, minutes, months, days, and year.
