There is no way to disable the auto stop start feature in the 2017 Chevy Cruze. There is however a way to get around it but You will need to put the vehicle in to manual mode. FirSTShift the gear down in the "L" position. Now located the plus and minus buttons on the gear shifter and move it up to level 9. You should now no longer have the auto start stop feature activate on You any longer. This feature was intended to help drivers save money on gas but it has become a nuisance to many owners of the vehicle.

There is no way to actually disable the auto stop/start feature on your 2017 chevy cruze. However, you can work around it using these steps: shift the gear into the l position. This places the vehicle into a manual mode. Use the +/- buttons on the gearshift to toggle the gear range (shown on the instrument panel display) up to 9 as you drive.

I own a 2017 Chevy Cruze. If you go in the trunk to the battery on the negative terminal there is a little plug which is what controls the stop start if you unplug it it will disable the stop start but will not affect anything else. Some of the newer cars will have a check engine light when you do this mine does not. If you do get the check engine light you can just plug it back in and it should clear itself so you won't need a scanner or to disconnect the battery or anything. Hope this helps.
