In order to unlock the radio for Your 2001 Chevy Impala You're first going to to need to put the key in the ignition and move it in to the run position. Now hold down on the two and three pre set buttons located on the center of the radio. After a few moments You're going to see a code appear on Your radio. At this time You may want to take Your cellphone out so You can remember this code. Now You're going to need to use the tuning knobs and the am/fm button in order to enter this code in to the radio. Doing this will take a few moments but once Your done the radio will be unlocked.

You will write this code forthwith. Tap fm / am click. You will see a second, three-digit code displayed on the radio. Write the second code down as the previous step. Now, you have a six digit code. Contact the chevrolet radio code telephone line at 1-800-537-5140. After that, enter the following numbers 1-0-6-0-1-0 and the #key to be able to direct you to the radio code retrieval system.
